Helping Others

At Plato’s Closet Clifton Park we are constantly looking for ways to be involved and help our local community. Some of our past accomplishments include:

·        Annual in store donations of Thanksgiving Meals coordinated with the City Mission.

·        In store donations to benefit the Capital Region American Heart Association 2018.

·        Student-To-Work program. This is an annual program where a student is selected to spend a portion of their school day as a volunteer in the store. During this time our management team educates them to preform various store tasks to get them ready for the working world. We have done this with students from Shenedehowa as well as Ames Way.

·        After our quarterly clearance we proudly donate unsold product to Things of My Very Own, Inc

·        In store donations to benefit the victims of Hurricane Harvey through Habitat for Humanity.

·        Donation of gift cards to benefit local organizations and charities including.

.        In store toy collection for Toys for Tots.

To coordinate a clothing drive or donation program with us please call the store and request Rhonda or Adeline
